Practicalities

Beginning counselling can feel like a significant step.  Here you'll find some of the practical information about working together.

If you have any questions, you're always welcome to get in touch.

Current availability

I currently have availability on the days shown below.  If none of these times work for you, please feel free to get in touch, as availability changes from time to time.

Sessions

Sessions last for 60 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis.  Meeting regularly provides a consistent space to reflect, explore what's on your mind, and build a relationship over time.

I offer both short- and longer-term counselling for adults (18+).

Together we can decide what feels most appropriate for you.

Where we meet

I offer counselling:

Face to face from my practice room in Histon, Cambridge.

Online via secure video sessions for clients anywhere in the UK.

Walking therapy, where we meet outdoors and walk together at a pace that feels comfortable.  For some people, being alongside one another in nature can make it easier to reflect and talk. If this is something you're interested in, we can discuss whether it feels like the right approach for you.  Animals are always welcome.

Explore the serene and vibrant beauty of a sprawling oak tree in a lush green forest, perfect for nature lovers.

The first conversation

If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free 20-minute introductory conversation by telephone or online.  It's an opportunity for us to talk about what has brought you here, explore what you're looking for from counselling, and answer any questions you may have.

It's also a chance for us both to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit, with no obligation to continue.

Fees

Individual counselling session — 60 minutes: £56

Introductory conversation — 20 minutes: Free

Payment is by bank transfer before each session, unless agreed otherwise.

To arrange a free introductory conversation, or to ask a question before deciding, you’re welcome to get in touch.
